GA - Valentin Traves

(i included my shiny Umbreon Arcturus. :'3;;; i just adore him (i have him IRL, hatched him in my Pearl game on New Year's Day so, sorry XD)

Valentin Traves: the most boring guy ever. He grew up in the city where the competition was heavy. His parents pushed him to be an exceptional student, so while he graduated the top of his class he had very very little social interaction.

He is pretty much unable to smile without looking silly. His dream is to make friends and be interesting, but he is boring boring boring. Most people either get bored with him and stop hanging out with him or are scared away by the fact that he never smiles. He's also bad at approaching new people. He tries to make jokes but they're normally bad or ruined by his straight face and deadpan voice.

He's physically incompetent, doesn't have much common sense, and doesn't really know how to take care of himself. (He comes from a fairly rich family.)

Valentin is a silly little nerdboy and sometimes comes off as pretentious. XD;;; But he's a sweet and shy child on the inside. He joined with his pokemon to travel the world and become worldly and interesting.

Addison Smith: A boring Houndoom. He is serious and strict, and a bit of a control freak. He initially thought he had found a kindred spirit in Valentin, but he turned out to be mostly wrong. However, he enjoys Valentin's company and didn't abandon him when he found that Valentin wasn't what he expected. He tolerates Valentin's awful jokes. Valentin sees him as an older brother. He and Arcturus are pretty vicious rivals.
Nature: Serious

Riley: A... mysterious? Kabuto. Very shy and quiet, and hates conflict. Unknown age- possibly much older than expected. Actually very good with knives, especially since Riley used to be homeless. Valentin found Riley in his backyard, and Valentin had to shoo Riley away from his family's garbage. (Thus "defeating" Riley.) Then they became friends. Riley normally doesn't understand Valentin's jokes.
Nature: Quiet

Arcturus Wilde: An energetic shiny Umbreon. Arcturus is possibly the only person in the world who thinks Valentin's jokes are hysterical. He either has really bad taste or really low standards. Arcturus always seems really intimidating until he talks, and then no one can take him seriously. He makes smartass comments and normally doesn't say anything else, unless he gets in an argument with Addison. Valentin thinks of him as an older brother, and they pretty much grew up together.
Nature: Quirky

Gilbert Alighieri: A playful Gengar. Gilbert is really good at bar tricks. He likes to tell people things they don't want to hear and play practical jokes on them. He's a little bit possessive and sometimes stalks people he's interested in, which is part of the reason why he was fired from his previous job. He actually challenged Valentin to a drinking contest (even though Valentin's underaged!! D<) but lost. (because Val is doomed to being boring no matter what substances are in his body.) Tries to get Addison to loosen up. He's normally very candid, but he has a soft spot for Valentin so he pretends to laugh at his jokes. (he's a good actor.)
Nature: Naughty

Krystal Waters: A Jynx who tries to be motherly. Who knows what her last job was. (I--I mean.) Her real name is Catherine Brown. She's trying to take a new path in life by caring for others, but she naturally flirts with most boys that she meets. Has a penchant for strange makeup and clothes. She combs Valentin's hair for him in the morning, and tolerates his jokes.
Nature: Gentle

Henry Beauregard: A Slowpoke. He and Valentin went to school together, but he was the lowest in his class. He also comes from a rich family, and they were neighbors, so their parents met and they became friends. He's slow (obviously) and very easygoing, so people normally try to take advantage of him. Valentin's jokes sort of go in one ear and out the other.
Nature: Docile
